TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
A young Romeo in China named Yuan, who was busted for cheating after he got into a car accident and the 17 women he was dating all showed up at the hospital.
Yuan was rushed to a hospital, prompting doctors to send a mass text to all of his contacts.
17 women showed up, none of whom knew about each other until they all met at the hospital.
One of them said she’d been with him for nine years and provided him financial support.
Another one says she has a son with him.
Still another one had already started planning their wedding.
If this doesn’t sound like the makings of a reality show, I don’t know what does.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
A manager at a KFC restaurant in Edmond, OK, who had to apologize after their in-store TV was showing explicit sex scenes.
The restaurant TVs were showing a Starz TV show, titled, ”Outlander.”
A man dining with his wife and twin six-year-old sons heard sounds of heavy breathing and looked up to see what he believed to be a pornographic film playing on KFC’s in-store television.
A manager came running out, flipped the TV off quickly, and unplugged it.
KFC apologized for any negative dining experience that may have occurred.
OR HOW ABOUT …..
Dan Ponce, an anchor on WGN-TV, Chicago, who was caught eating breakfast and didn’t realize he was on camera.
Ponce was eating a parfait when his co-anchor Lourdes Duarte reminded him that he was on air.
Duarte ended up wrapping up the segment, either because Dan’s mouth was full or because he couldn’t contain his laughter over his “deer in headlights moment.”
One viewer commented of Facebook, “Hey Dan … Why don’t you eat your nutritious breakfast before the show instead of during the show?”
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Daniel Brown, 22, a British man who picked the wrong postal worker to attack.
Brown tried to steal mail from a postal worker in Britain, but got a bit of a shock because his intended victim was a former boxing champ.
Brown assaulted Kevin McIntyre as he was delivering a package, but didn’t know that this postal worker won the British welterweight title in 2007.
Fearing the robber might be armed with a knife, McIntyre punched him and then left the building before phoning the police.
When officers arrived, they found Brown was very drunk and noticed he had a piece of mail that had been taken.
Brown admitted the offense in court and also pled guilty to another assault that happened earlier that day.
