TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
Daniel Mondelice, 22, a student at Penn State, who was arrested for fist fighting his roommate over who was a better basketball player, Michael Jordan or LeBron James.
The two were debating the point when Mondelice became enraged and smashed two water glasses over his roommate’s head.
The roommate tried to calm him down, but police arrived to hear Mondelice threatening to stab him in his sleep.
Mondelice was booked and released, only to get arrested again that night after he refused to leave a different friend’s dorm room.
Ironically, his Facebook page says he “likes” both of them.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
A 24-year-old man in England, who needed surgery after he injected Vaseline into his manhood in hopes it would make it bigger.
Doctors say the man injected nearly a pound of vaseline, but it left him swollen and in constant pain and unable to have sex.
A cosmetic surgeon admitted “the man’s penis is a disaster” and needed hours of surgery in order to recover.
The father of one feared he would never be able to have more children after the procedure, but luckily, the surgery to remove all the Vaseline and scar tissue was successful, and he is back in full health.
OR HOW ABOUT …..
Tabitha Anne Bennett, 33, a Florida mom, who is in trouble for using Facebook to setup a fight between her daughter and another girl.
The mom, armed with a folding knife and acting somewhat like an emcee, drove her 13-year-old daughter to the fight and told the crowd she wouldn’t allow anyone to join in the ruckus.
In cell phone video footage, Bennett is allegedly seen yelling and encouraging her daughter to “get on top” of the 14-year-old.
At one point, Bennett is seen kicking the 14-year-old in the side and pulling her to the ground by her hair, allowing her daughter to get on top of her and continue the fight.
Police charged Bennett with child abuse, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and simple battery.
She is currently free on $10,500 bond.
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Bojan Zoric, a Serbian Air Force pilot, whose coffee spill has caused him to temporarily lose his license.
Zoric was at the controls of the Serbian President’s airplane and caused a great scare when his coffee spilled on the instrument panel and forced the plane to make an emergency landing.
Advisers to President Tomislav Nikolic described being “thrown around the cabin” when the plane began tumbling through the air.
The plane landed safely back in Belgrade, but Nikolic was forced to cancel his official visit to meet Pope Francis in the Vatican.
Zoric said “I began wiping the board and accidentally activated the ’emergency slat’ button,” which automatically turned off the automatic pilot and the plane began losing altitude.”
The other pilot took over command, managed to pull the plane up and landed it.
The Directorate temporarily suspended Zoric’s license.
