TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
Shealyn Largent, a Florida woman who was arrested after asking a deputy for advice on how to carry pot without getting caught.
Largent was a passenger on a scooter when the driver got pulled over by police.
As the cop questioned the driver, Largent asked the officer if there’s a good way to conceal pot.
Her comments forced them to search her bag, and she was arrested.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
A Montana man, who was pulled over for carrying thousands of loose bees in his vehicle.
Police saw the man driving erratically and assumed he was drunk.
When they got closer, they noticed five hives of honey bees that were flying free inside the car.
He only got a ticket for careless driving because it turns out there’s no law against transporting bees in your car.
OR HOW ABOUT …..
Kalie G. Mathews, 27, a Missouri woman who was arrested while posting bond for a friend.
Mathews showed up at the station, but while she was inside, deputies noticed her car did not have legal registration on it.
Upon further investigation, they discovered her driver’s license was suspended.
Officers also discovered she was in possession of various illegal prescription pills.
Now it looks like she needs to come up with two bonds.
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Laresha Marie Uting, 24, who was arrested for starting a riot at a Minnesota Taco Bell after she got the wrong order.
Uting was with two friends in the drive-thru when they became upset with what they claimed was an incorrect order.
Uting and her friends then parked the vehicle and came into the restaurant, yelling and swearing at the employees.
She told police she went to her car and grabbed a tire iron that she gave to one of her friends.
He then hit one of the teens over the head with the pipe before leaving.
The teen suffered a minor laceration and police later arrested Uting and her friends.
