Prosecuting Attorney Thomas Hoeh has charged 19-year old Dylan Taylor of Perryville, with one count of first-degree robbery, three counts of armed criminal action, three counts of first-degree assault and theft of a firearm. All are felonies. Taylor was taken into custody Wednesday and is being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond, online court records show. 19-year old Brandon Moore, also of Perryville, has been charged in connection with felony theft of the firearm used. Moore’s bond has been set at $25,000 cash only. The firearm in question was a .38-caliber revolver that recently was stolen from a Perryville home. The alleged assault took place Wednesday morning at a house on Nicole Lane in Perryville. The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was able to escape the house and flee to his sister’s home near Shakertown in Perry County. The victim was alert, coherent and able to communicate with officers Wednesday. He was taken by helicopter to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that were believed to be non-life-threatening.
