A Poplar Bluff man is in serious condition after being allegedly stabbed several times by his girlfriend’s 17-year-old son as she held him down. Butler County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Desean R. Bell and 37-year old April L. Noyes, both of the 600 block of Hart Street in Neelyville, on suspicion of first-degree assault at 1:15 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Lyla Lane. The status of the victim, 33-year old Bradley N. Santos is uncertain, as police report he lost “a tremendous” amount of blood during the incident. He is being treated at a hospital. According to incident reports, deputies at the scene found the victim with visible injuries to the head, neck, back and side and covered in blood. Deputies report Santos told them who the attackers were and that Desean stabbed him and April held him down before he lost consciousness. Noyes was reportedly kneeling on the ground admitting to the stabbing. Authorities found the weapon and observed blood on the floor, walls and furniture. Bell was spotted driving on County Road 470 and arrested. Noyes and Bell are in custody at the Butler County jail. Bond was not set as of press time.
