What goes great with fireworks, bbq, and family gatherings on the 4th of July? MUD VOLLEYBALL! A tradition in Jackson is making a strong comeback the last 4 years with up to 50 teams expected in a double elimination tournament on Independence Day. Coordinator and Fire Chief Jason Mouser says there will be a wide range of talent on the coed teams of 10. He tells KZIM KSIM – the best part – this is not in sand – it’s in the MUD!
Showers are available. The top 4 teams will win cash prizes. Register at the Jackson Fire Department by 5 o’clock Friday afternoon on the 26th. The entry fee per team is 200$. You must be 18 years old.
