TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
Christopher Voshell, 24, an Iowa man who got robbed after he’d just robbed a gas station.
Polices say Voshell took the proceeds from a gas station robbery to a local bar, only to get held up in the parking lot by another thief.
Voshell called the cops, who were able to connect him to the gas station robbery after interviewing him.
He was arrested on multiple charges.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
Heinz, which had to apologize for including a link to a porn site on bottles of ketchup in Germany.
The company was running an online contest to design a new label.
When the contest ended, they didn’t renew the website that hosted the contest and a porn site wound up buying the domain.
People who bought ketchup bottles that contained the contest information wound up visiting the porn site instead.
OR HOW ABOUT …..
Tieren Watson, 26, an Arkansas shooting suspect, who was arrested wearing a shirt that said “You can run, but you can’t hide.”
Police say Watson was arguing with another person on a sidewalk and he started firing off rounds from a pistol that ultimately hit a female bystander.
He was on the run for a week before police found him, wearing his t-shirt.
He was booked on charges of first-degree battery, six counts of aggravated assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, and possession of a firearm by a certain person.
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Julia Jones, 22, of Jasper, Georgia, who shoplifted 131 pairs of underwear from a Wal-Mart.
Surveillance cameras caught her shoving 131 pairs of underwear into her purse, grocery bags, and pockets.
She’s already pleading not guilty where it counts … on Facebook.
Jones posted, “Before you jump to conclusions, you should all stop to consider there may be a reason … and if you all knew that reasoning, you’d leave me alone.”
Regardless of her reason, she’s facing a felony theft charge.
