TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
George Blowers, 28, a Florida man who left his three children alone in a park while he went swimming on Father’s Day.
The kids were left alone for two hours in a crowded pavilion area, while Blowers and another person were in the water more than 150 yards away from shore.
Park police found them and eventually tracked down Blowers after he emerged from the water.
Deputies arrested Blowers and charged him with child neglect.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
Yanilca Ortiz-Burgos, 37, a Florida woman who stabbed her boyfriend after he refused to have morning sex with her.
Police say she wanted a quickie before she left for work at 6:00 a.m. but he refused, saying he wanted to sleep.
This led to an argument, which culminated with her punching him and stabbing him.
She was arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon… which totally ruined the mood.
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Anthony Dunton, 65, a Georgia man who was busted for putting weed killer in his co-worker’s water bottle on four occasions.
Dunton’s co-worker was hospitalized with kidney pain and later told doctors that he’d drank some water at work that tasted a little off.
His symptoms led doctors to believe he was poisoned, so they began interviewing his co-workers.
Dunton eventually came forward to say he did it, but only because he wanted to “mess with him.”
Dunton is facing four felony counts of aggravated assault.
