This is the one time of year when “rodents” are a good thing!
When are mice a good thing? When they help kids excel in sports! Spokesman for the Jackson Indian Football Parents Club, Scott Hume says the Mouse races on Saturday the 11th bring a night filled with food, fun, and furry rodents! The mice actually race each other in 6 heats and then a championship race will ensue! He tells KZIM KSIM it takes a lot of money to help students stay on path to a successful athletic career!
Hume says a 10-dollar ticket gets you in the door which opens at 6-00pm. The mice stay under glass! The races start at 7 o’clock at the American Legion Hall on High Street. There will be a mouse roulette, a dice wheel, raffles, and a silent auction. A cash bar and food are available. Get tickets at Wings etc., SEMO specialties or Mirror Image.
