Police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint. At 9 p.m. Thursday, the Charleston Department of Public Safety received a report of an armed robbery at the Casey’s General Store on East Marshall St. in Charleston. Department of Public Safety director Robert Hearnes says a black man wearing a wig and sunglasses entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The robber took an undetermined amount of cash and left on foot. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is urged to call (573) 683-3737.
