TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
Miranda Levy, whose engagement photo went from cheers to jeers when she failed to realize a pregnancy test box that was in the corner of the photo.
Levy wanted to share the good news of her engagement with her Facebook friends so she posted a photo of her and her new fiance sitting on the couch, showing off her ring.
But apparently she was in such a hurry to share the good news that she didn’t realize the box for a pregnancy test was sitting next to her in the corner of the photo.
Her friends all picked up on it pretty quickly, and started asking if she was pregnant, too.
So about 40 minutes after she posted the engagement photo, she posted, quote, “Hey guys, we’re having a baby, too.”
AND THEN THERE’S …..
Anthony Aranda, 25, a Chicago man who got pulled over for drunk driving, and when the cops left him alone in the back of the police car, he started talking to himself about the drugs and weapons back at his place.
Aranda didn’t know he was being recorded but police got a search warrant and found cocaine, marijuana, and a sawed-off shotgun in his house.
He’s been charged with a DUI, speeding, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, possession of cocaine and cannabis, and more.
Aranda wasn’t the only one arrested during the traffic stop, his passenger, 25-year-old Imelda Marines, had outstanding warrants.
During a search at the police station, officers learned she had meth stashed inside her “lady parts.”
OR HOW ABOUT …..
Genio Ruiz, 46, an Iowa man who was arrested for having a meth lab tucked into the waistband of his pants.
Cops in Cedar Rapids got a call about a suspicious person outside a group of homes.
Police arrived and reported that Ruiz smelled “like weird chemicals.”
They searched him and found some weed, but as they arrested him, they also found a 20-ounce soda bottle with some meth ingredients stashed inside it.
He was charged with manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance.
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Jason Hill, 39 and Louie Hill, 42, two Houston brothers who were arrested on assault charges after they stabbed a construction worker that they thought was blocking the drive-thru of a Chick-fil-A.
Two brothers were trying to go through the drive-thru at a Chick-fil-A but their access was blocked by a truck they believe belonged to a couple of construction workers.
The truck in-fact didn’t belong to the construction workers, but the brothers started an argument about it with them anyway, and ended when one of the brothers stabbed one of the construction workers multiple times.
The Hills drove off and were arrested on assault charges.
It’s still unclear which brother did the stabbing, but the victim is recovering.
