38-year old Tawny D. Divietro of VanDuser pleaded guilty Tuesday to burglary Nov. 4 in the 100 block of East Caroline Street in Morley. In the guilty plea, Divietro wrote she knowingly and unlawfully entered a building in the 100 block of East Caroline with the intent of stealing and she possessed a screwdriver and flashlight in a forcible entry. Scott County Sheriff’s Department public information officer Dane Stausing said after Divietro’s arrest a single female burglar was rare, especially in the middle of the day. The Scott County prosecuting attorney’s office recommended a suspended imposition of sentence and five years probation on the counts of burglary and possessing burglary tools. The conditions of Divietro’s parole, include working toward the completion of a general-education diploma, an Impact of Crime on Victims Program, 48 hours in jail, attending counseling and maintaining full-time employment.
