A new exhibit, featuring Tom Runnels art, will open Friday the 23 at the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History. Metal sculptures, paintings, and prints by Runnels will be featured in this exhibit. At 2 p.m. Sandy Runnels and Jeanie Eddleman will speak with visitors about Runnels life and work. A special PowerPoint presentation will be available featuring information on him as well. Other exhibits at the museum includes dinosaur fossils and models, the Civil War, Native Americans, the Ice Age, regional history exhibits, discover and play area with a children’s fossil dig, dinosaur puzzles, and more. Museum hours that day are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is located at 207 Mayfield Drive in Marble Hill. Regular admission will apply. For information, call 573-238-1174.
