Several portions of Cape Girardeau’s streets are undergoing asphalt milling, starting Monday. The work is part of the 2016 Asphalt Overlay Program, which includes yearly asphalt resurfacing made possible by the Transportation Trust Fund program, renewed by voters last year. This program allows numerous areas of town to undergo repairs on a regular basis. The following streets will be worked on in coming weeks: Grandview from Lisa Drive to Melrose and Lexington Avenue. Ridgeway Drive from West Cape Rock Drive to Brookwood. David Street from Melrose to Lynnwood. Jasmine Lane from Carolina Lane to Rampart Street. Lisa from Carolina to 2560 Lisa Drive. Magnolia from Grandview to 2582 Magnolia Avenue and the driveway located at 1416 Ripley.
