Orlando “TJ” Sheron Jeterrance Harris
The Sikeston DPS is searching for 20-year-old Orlando “TJ” Sheron Jr. of Sikeston as a suspect in a homicide investigation after one person is dead and another injured, Sunday morning around 1 o’clock at Roberta Rowe Park. A news release says 21-year-old Jeterrence V. Harris “Wiggins” of Sikeston was taken into custody. Captain Jim McMillen says it apparently started as an argument between two groups, then shots were fired, and two men were struck. One man, 31-year-old James “Jay” Harris of Sikeston, died from his injuries. Another man was injured and taken to a local hospital. No word on the extent of his injuries. The SEMO major case squad has been activated to investigate. Deputies with the New Madrid County and Scott County sheriff’s departments are assisting. Scott County Coroner Scott Amick says an autopsy has been scheduled. Harris was arrested and charged with 1st degree murder and armed criminal action and his bond is set at $250,000 cash only. Sheron is still on the loose and considered armed and dangerous. Sheron is charged with with 1st degree murder and armed criminal action. His bond is set at $500,000 cash only.
