A family who lost their trailer to a fire overnight is now recovering. Around 1:30 today/Monday fire crews responded to a single-wide trailer off County Road 405. The home was located seven miles north of Miner. Scott County Rural Fire Protection District Chief Jeremy Perrin says a two-year-old and the child’s mother suffered minor smoke inhalation but are expected to make a full recovery. Firefighters say the fire- started in one the bedrooms, which received most of the damage. The rest of the home suffered smoke damage. Investigators are still trying to determine what started the fire.
