Today/ yesterday a preliminary hearing was held regarding Dwayne Dunn Jr. one of the three alleged men to be involved in the March 27th shooting that lead to the death of Carbondale musician Tim Beaty and injured Nehemiah Greenlee. On the 11th, Dunn of St. Louis was indicted on charges of reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, both Class 4 felonies. Dunn pleaded not guilty to the charges. Dunns mother testified on behalf of her son requesting a bond reduction from $500,000 to $25,000. As a result, associate judge Ralph R. Bloodworth III denied the request for bond reduction but granted the motion for the inclusion of Dunns’ blood samples from investigations as part of his case.
