A poplar woman us now in custody after allegedly kidnapping a middle school girl. The girl’s father James Miller and step mother Tonjia Miller called the police to report the incident Wednesday. James told police Lori Flinckinger signed his 13 year old daughter out of school for the day without his knowledge or consent. Miller says he does not know Flickinger. Police say Flickinger went to Poplar Bluff Junior High School and signed out the girl under a false name. She told school officials that she was the girl’s sister and that they had o attend a family mater. Flickinger took the girl out to eat and then they went to her home for a few house. She dropped the girl off at an after school church activity. When police interviewed Flickinger, she admitted to taking the girl from school. She told authorities she was a friend of the girl’s biological mother. She was arrested and place in arrested and placed in Butler County Justice Center for the charge of Kidnapping.
