The Paducah Police Department is reporting a man believed to be homeless has been arrested yesterday/ Monday, the 16th on charges of possession of burglary tools and two counts of third-degree burglary. Paducah police say 29 year old, Andre Lamar Morris is charged for breaking into the Easter Seals West Kentucky Center twice. On Monday Morning, Aaron Record told officers that someone broke into the building between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday. Officers say a window was pried open. The suspect used personal hygiene items and had taken a shower in the facility. Just after 8 p.m. officers found the same window open. They searched the building finding Morris inside, who was in possession of hygene items stolen from the center in the previous break- in, and a pocket knife police believe was used to pry the window open. Morris told officers he broke in to get out of the weather, eat, read his bible and takea nap. He was booked into the Mcracken County Regional Jail.
