A domestic altercation began at a local dollar store began when the suspect threw landscaping rocks at the victim. It ended at the woman’s house with the man grabbing her throat, throwing her to the ground and pulling out a large amount of hair. Police report that 25-Year old Jared Keith Leimbach, of Perryville was arrested by police and has been charged with first-degree domestic assault and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. His bond was set at $25,000 cash only. A probable-cause statement says officers went to the 600 block of Main Street of Perryville about 6:30 Sunday night and restrained Leimbach. An adult female victim had bruising on her right hip, red marks around her neck and bruising on her elbow. There was also a large clump of hair where the victim said she was thrown. Leimbach allegedly grabbed a hand full of rocks and struck her car, shattering a side window with the victim’s 6-year-old son inside.
