Four Missouri churches were broken into over the weekend. Butler County Sheriff Mark Dobbs says two of those churches are in Butler County and the other two are in Stoddard County. North Point Church of the Nazarene and Cornerstone Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church were hit in Butler County. Pastor of North Point Church of the Nazarene, Greg Gilberto says three laptops, one desktop computer, two guitars, two monitors, two video cameras, two audio systems, the monitor system for the nursery, petty cash, and offering money were all stolen. Dobbs says an audio system was stolen from Cornerstone Tabernacle UPC. Dobbs says the serial numbers of all of the missing items are being put into a nationwide database in case any of the property shows up. Today, investigators from the Sheriff’s Department will speak with nearby businesses to look at security video that could help lead to a suspect. DNA evidence from the scene will be tested, as well.
