Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter says a Sikeston man has been arrested on Alcohol and Driving Charges. 51-year-old Timmy J. Wilkerson has been charged with the Class B Felony of Driving While Intoxicated, Chronic Offender and Class D Felony of Driving While Revoked/Suspended. On Monday, July 4TH authorities received information of Wilkerson driving intoxicated on State Highway H, stopping him for driving approximately two miles per hour and failing to maintain a single lane. Wilkerson smelled of alcohol, and his speech was slurred. He was not able to maintain his balance, failing his sobriety test. A check on Wilkerson’s driving privileges showed his operator’s license to be revoked in Missouri, and that he has four or more prior convictions for driving while intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail. His Bond is set at $15,000 cash only.
