An East Prairie man was arrested on drug-related charges
John E. Carter will be arraigned at 9:15 Wednesday morning before Judge S. Rob Barker on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and three counts of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. The East Prairie Police Department reported that at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, an officer contacted Carter in the 200 block of Lombardy Drive, for suspicious activity. Carter was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and several drug paraphernalia items. The police report says bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety. Also Carter is reported to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Scott County. Read more in the Standard Democrat. I
