The Missouri State Highway Patrol says they are actively searching for an armed and dangerous man who is wanted for an alleged rape, assault, and kidnapping in Ripley County. 25-year old Heath B. Miller, of Rector, Arkansas is suspected of breaking into a home in Ripley County and stealing a handgun around 7:45 p.m. on Monday, March 13th. Miller stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and weighs about 218 pounds. If you see him, call 911 – Police are asking that you do not approach him. On Wednesday, March 8th. Miller attacked a female who was then able to drive herself to the hospital. Police say they are actively searching for him in the Grandin area. Homeowners are being asked to keep their doors locked. Miller is wanted on warrants for his arrest from Dunklin and Ripley counties, charging him with first degree rape, first degree kidnapping, and first degree assault. Police added that anyone found aiding Miller will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
