TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
Djuan Bowers, 18, Tynerick Turner, 17, and an underage companion, who were all arrested after they opened fire on the pizzeria that got their order wrong.
Nashville Police say the three teenagers ordered some pizza at the DB Todd Market and got upset when they received the wrong toppings.
The teens then opened fire on the building before driving off.
Luckily, nobody was injured by the gunfire.
All three teens are facing multiple counts of aggravated assault, weapons possession, and auto theft.
Since his alleged accomplices are underage, Bowers was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a misdemeanor.
Bowsers, and possibly Turner, could be looking at serious jail time all because of a botched pizza.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
A couple in China, who got arrested for trying to con people out of money, by having their eight-year-old daughter jump in front of moving cars.
They were busted after police obtained footage from a dash cam video that showed the child waiting by the side of the road until an opportune moment before running into the street where she is clipped by the vehicle.
The pair would then retrieved the uninjured girl before approaching the driver to demand money.
The pair have been arrested and the young girl relocated to a foster home.
OR HOW ABOUT …..
Biologists in Utah, who failed in their attempt to shoot a bear with a tranquilizer dart after one of them got shot by it instead.
The injured biologist was part of a team monitoring black bear survival and reproduction rates.
The team darted a collared a female bear, but after they loaded another dart it accidentally discharged and struck the biologist in his hand.
The team members provided emergency aid quickly, realizing they only had 15 to 20 minutes before their colleague could possibly lose consciousness.
Luckily he was able to be airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.

The husband told police he and his wife were drinking at the pool area when they decided to go to their room and have sex.

According to police, “She continued yelling and screaming the entire ride to the jail.”
