On March 26th the Sikeston Department of Public Safety responded to a shots fired call on the 400 block of Kendall. After investigating, officers learned that the shots fired were actually on the 300 block of W. Gladys and that the victim was sitting on a couch near where a bullet came through the wall. Detectives gathered information from the victim who has been released from the hospital and witnesses. They said that after the shots were fired, they saw a male with a white shirt and dark pants was running north away from the scene with a handgun. On March 30th a 16 year old juvenile turned himself in when he was brought into the Sikeston DPS by his mom. He was interviewed and transported to the Mississippi County Juvenile Detention Center.
