A sheriff in Williamson County is warning everybody about fake amusement park tickets. WSPD TV reports that Sheriff Bennie Vick says his office was recently notified of fake Holiday World tickets being sold locally. The tickets were sold over online marketplaces such as Facebook swap sites and sales sites. They look authentic but were said to be fake by Holiday World staff. Over $2,000 worth of fake tickets have already been collected from the Williamson County area by Holiday World. Vick says it is important to be careful when shopping on swap sites especially when buying tickets that can easily be faked.
