TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
Catherine Ellen Johnson, 45, a Florida woman, who drove her SUV across the median of a busy road then “purposely drove into the sign” in front of McDonald’s.
When an officer asked her why she had driven into the sign, she said she didn’t like McDonald’s and she “drove into the sign intentionally due to her brother dying.”
After she was placed in the back of a patrol car, she was able to remove one of the handcuffs.
When the officer tried to re-secure the cuffs, she kicked him in the thigh.
She was booked on charges of criminal mischief and battery on a law enforcement officer.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
A woman in L.A., who tried to take a selfie at an art gallery, knocked over a row of sculptures, and ruined $200,000 worth of art.
A security camera showed the woman crouching in front of a row of sculptures placed on pedestals, presumably trying to take a selfie.
She lost her balance, and knocked the pedestal directly behind her over, which then in turn creates a domino effect, knocking over at least 10 pedestals topped with art.
No word on if any charges have been filed.
OR HOW ABOUT …..
Sharon Price and Andy Price, who wanted to do the “Dirty Dancing” lift for their wedding, but decided to practice while they were drinking, and ended up in the hospital.
Bride-to-be Sharon Price and fiance Andy Price were left unconscious when a practice attempt at the iconic scene spectacularly flopped.
They had a few drinks at a bar and thought they’d give it a go.
However, Shannon ended up knocking the wind out of herself and Andy hit his head so hard, he was knocked out.
Family members stood there taking photos because they thought it was a prank.
But it really wasn’t.
The two were rushed to the ER where they were treated and released.
Shannon said, “We were both badly bruised, but we’re all right now. I think we’re going to go for a slow one for our first dance.”
