The Graves County Sherriff’s Office reports a fatal collision that occurred on September 11. At about 6:45 PM deputies responded to a motor vehicle collision with entrapment on KY 80. Based on the investigation it appeared that 51 year old, Lena Tucker of Murray, was traveling eastbound on KY 80 in a Sterling dump truck when she ran off into the median and continued eastbound. She over corrected and went off the right side of the roadway, hitting an embankment and over turning. Upon arrival the dump truck was fully engulfed in flames. Tucker was pronounced dead on scene by Coroner Brad Jones. Several individuals who witnessed the collision or came upon it stopped to try to free Tucker but were unable to do so. This investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division.
