Eddie Hill, 24, Cordell Price, 21, and Aries Rickenbacker, 22, who robbed a Verizon store then tried to hide from police in the lobby… of the police station.
The trio of men robbed the Verizon store at gunpoint.
They tied up employees and made off with 20 cell phones and some other items.
After a high speed chase that ended when they crashed the car, they made a run for it seeking refuge in a nearby building.
Too bad for them because they ended up in the lobby of the Highland Park (Illinois) Police Department.
The trio were successfully apprehended and all the property was recovered.
The three were charged with a laundry list of violations including armed robbery.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
Victor Apeler, 48, and Blake Waller, 42, whose tried to steal a metal telephone pole during the Hurricane Irma recovery effort.
Police responded after receiving calls of two men strapping a the huge metal telephone pole to a Kia SUV.
It looked pretty suspicious so police easily tracked down the metal looters.
Their grand plan of selling it for scrap metal failed and the duo was arrested for grand theft.

Kristi Goss, a former administrative assistant in an Arkansas county, who fraudulently used $200,000 of public money for private purchases including a dog tuxedo, a diamond bracelet, sequined throw pillows and pet insurance.
While working for the county as an administrative assistant, Goss used the a Garland County (Arkansas) credit card to purchase tickets to Arkansas Razorbacks sporting events, and frivolous items for herself and her pet pug.
Goss plead guilty in court and now awaits sentencing.
