Outside money in Missouri Senate race tops $70 million

Last minute campaigning in the Missouri U.S. Senate race has hit overdrive.  But in a rare less contentious moment on the stump, Republican challenger Josh Hawley praised incumbent Democrat McCaskill for her public service before launching to his usual talking points.

More than $70 million in outside money has been spent so far on the Missouri Senate race.
