Missouri’s state budget director reports net general revenue collections for the current fiscal year are down about 382-million dollars.
Bill Wise has more.
The figures from the end of January are off seven percent from last year. Director Dan Haug says the biggest decrease came in individual income tax collections, which are off by about 10 percent. The fiscal year began July 1st. Legislative leaders are hoping the people filing their income taxes will help those collections catch up with projections.
