Dead body found by hunter scouting party in Butler County

A dead body was found by a hunter scouting party in Butler County on Saturday. Few details are available at this time, however authorities with the Butler County Sheriff’s Department said that the body was found in a wooded area near County Road 517 in Wappapello, and it was heavily decomposed. An autopsy was performed on Monday, however the identity of the body has yet to be released.
