They were tracked down and arrested later that evening.

Two British fishermen, who are lucky to be alive after they went to sea in a $13 boat they made out of insulation boards and coat hangers.
The pair were fishing for cod when an oar broke and they needed to be rescued.
Authorities said the pair are very lucky they were spotted, since neither of the men had life jackets and only one of them could swim.
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Joe Sciamanna, the owner of the “Dago Joe’s” food truck in Detroit, who enraged customers with his menu’s description of the mozzarella sticks, which were described as “battered like your wife.”
Sciamanna explained the menu description as “just a joke.”
He said, “We’re not joking about battered women, we’re just joking about the battered mozzarella sticks.”
He has since covered up the offensive description.
