A Cape Girardeau man is facing charges after being accused of a domestic assault June 21. Charles M. Garmon Jr. has been charged with one count each of first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. Sgt. Adam Glueck of the Cape Girardeau Police Department says about 11 p.m. June 21, officers responded to a Cape Girardeau home for a report of shots fired. The victim claimed Garmon shot a gun at her, but she was not struck. A warrant for Garmon was issued Monday after an investigation. His bond has been set at $100,000 cash or surety. Glueck says Garmon is still at large.
