Two people shot in Cape late Saturday

Two people are hospitalized after a shooting in Cape Girardeau that occurred late Saturday. Police responded to Benton Street and Bloomfield Road shortly before 11 p.m. Cape Girardeau Police Sgt. Adam Glueck says one of the victims was shot in the torso, and the other in the foot. Both were admitted to hospitals, but authorities are not releasing information regarding the victims’ identities or medical conditions. As of Sunday afternoon, police did not have anyone in custody.
