TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
Richard Relliford, 26, a Florida man who was arrested after he failed to convince police that the bag of marijuana in his car was salad.
The incident happened during a routine traffic stop.
The St. Mary’s Police Department posted a photo of the marijuana in a sandwich bag on its Facebook page.
OR HOW ABOUT …..
A 42-year-old North Kingsville, Ohio man pretending to be a real cop, was arrested when he pulled over a real cop.
An off-duty officer was stopped by the alleged impersonator, who was driving a black SUV with red and blue emergency-style lights.
The unarmed man in civilian clothes repeatedly tried to convince the off-duty officer that he was a real lawman, but eventually drove away.
The real officer contacted police, who found the bogus cop within minutes.
Now he gets to spend some time in a REAL jail.
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Christopher Adam Matous, 31, a Taco Bell employee in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who was busted when cops found he’d set up a meth lab in the store’s bathroom.
Matous, who according to his Facebook page was an Assistant Manager, and Kent Jerome Duby, 56, were arrested for conspiracy to manufacture meth.
Matous was also charged with meth possession and fired by the restaurant.
