Sikeston shooting suspects sought
Sikeston Department of Public Safety is looking for two men in connection with a shooting on July 30. A news release from the DPS says that around 4pm a call was received for shots fired in the 500 block of John R. Blvd. When officers found shell casings in the road near the Monte Circle intersection. Witnesses say 20-year-old Orlando “TJ” Sheron and 23-year-old Dewayne Harris, Jr., both of Sikeston, were shooting at each other. They both have arrest warrants out of Scott County. Sheron is charged with first degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Harris is charged with first degree assault and armed criminal action. Both have bonds of $50,000 cash only. Police say they have information that they may be hiding out in nearby cities.
