A special event to educate you on the work of missionaries all around the world is coming to the Cape Regional airport this week…
Your whole family is invited to a free event at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport to learn about the JAARS Advocates and the Wycliffe Bible translator’s Logistic branch. JARRS began in 1948 to assist missionaries who were deep in the jungles of the Amazon preaching and teaching about Christ. Pilot and Spokesman Mike Mowers tells KZIM KSIM on Wednesday the 26th they will be selling tickets for helicopter and airplane rides in an effort to cover the costs of their work which goes well beyond the romantic notion of flying into exotic places…
Plane rides are 25$ per person and Helicopter rides are 30$. The event is from 2 to 8 pm. Mowers recommends attending before the late hours so you can be assured your chance for a ride. There will be displays on the work of JAARS and advocates available on support services. Check out more at JAARS.org
