Sign makers at the Chennai International Airport in India, who posted a sign that was supposed to read, ”Sitting and eating on the carpet is prohibited,” but it actually said, “Eating carpet strictly prohibited.”
A businessman photographed the sign and a Facebook user corrected the meaning of the original Hindi text.
I doubt there were many violators after the sign was posted.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
Raiko Guerra Ramos, 26, and Maidel Aguirre Menendez, 27, who failed to burglarize a mobile phone store because it was located right next to a police station.
A security company monitoring the live video feed from the store alerted police.
Because they were right next door, they arrived within two minutes.
The getaway driver took off and was apprehended, but his partner was arrested after found hiding in the store’s drop ceiling.
Both were charged with burglary and vandalism to a business.
OR HOW ABOUT …..
Michael Rush, 27, a Kansas man, who attacked a police officer by swinging his dog at him.
Rush tried to hit the officer with the dog by swinging it around by its leash.
Rush faces possible animal abuse charges as well as battery against a law enforcement officer.
He’s in jail, and both the cop and the dog are okay.
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Kimberly Carrillo, 28, who swiped $3,000 worth of sausages from her job, then started selling them at a local gas station.
Surveillance footage showed Carrillo stealing the sausage, and a fellow employee blew the whistle on her selling the links at a local gas station.
When her boss was made aware of the theft, she was fired.
Criminal charges are pending.
