The Uptown Jackson Revitalization Organization is planning the third Jackson in Bloom event on Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event features several craft vendors, food trucks and music. Activities include painting flower pots, constructing tissue paper flowers, crafts for children and mini golf. Jackson High School will have their annual plant sale going on as well. Co-chair of Jackson in Bloom, Janet Sanders tells KZIM KSIM the purpose of the community event.
Other activities include fairy garden and painting demonstrations and a bounce house. The Southeast University Museum Explorer Bus will also be there.
