A former Sikeston church pastor will appear in circuit court later this month. Missouri Case Net says 47-year-old Terry R. Mejean of Cape Girardeau was charged in March with felony fraudulent use of a credit device and felony stealing. The probable cause affidavit by Detective Ryan Dennis with the Sikeston DPS says on March 7, a deacon with the Fellowship Baptist Church made a report of stealing and fraudulent use of a credit device. The deacon says on Feb. 10, the Fellowship Baptist Church terminated Mejean. Mejean had been given a credit card with the deacon’s name on it. Starting Sept. 23, 2015, through January 2016, Mejean purchased items totaling $1,976.28 with the credit card. Among items purchased were 2 laptops, a wireless computer mouse, a 32 gigabyte flash drive, 8 gigabyte tablet and more. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. the 23rd before Circuit Division Judge David Dolan at the Scott County Courthouse.
