The Sikeston City Council will conduct the second reading and consider passage of bill 6025, the FY-17 Budget Ordinance. The bill will appropriate funding for planned municipal operations July 1st through June 30th, 2017. In the last meeting, the council directed staff to increase expenditures by $25,000 for the purchase/installation of a warning siren in the Business, Education & Technology Park. Revenues are anticipated to be $14.9 million with $14.5 million in expenditures.
