TODAY’S GENIUS AWARD GOES TO . . . . . . .
Dusten Kemp, 30, an Iowa man who threatened to shoot up a Domino’s Restaurant… because they got his order wrong.
Kemp had ordered a pizza and it arrived without his toppings.
He didn’t complain until the following day.
The Domino’s was gracious enough to bring out a replacement pizza.
However, when the delivery man showed up he grabbed the driver’s arm and said he was going to, “come down to Domino’s and shoot up the place with his .45.”
Kemp was locked up on $8,500 bond following his arrest on harassment and assault charges.
BTW, the delivery driver told police that Kemp was naked and appeared drunk at the time of the threats.
AND THEN THERE’S …..
Bobby Heath, 26, a British man who was arrested for stealing his own lawyer’s cell phone while in court.
Heath was in court on drug and driving offenses when his lawyer’s phone went missing.
Security cameras in the court room showed Heath swipe the phone from the woman defending him.
Police followed Heath to his home and a theft charge was added to his offenses.
OR HOW ABOUT …..
Steven Lewis, 35, whose flee from cops ended when he ran straight into a tree and knocked himself out.
Lewis lead police in Clearwater, Florida on a high-speed chase that ended when he hit a concrete guard rail and had to bail out of his car.
He took off running then ran straight into a tree and knocked himself out.
The cops found him lying there and took him to the hospital.
He’s facing several charges.
OKAY, ONE MORE …..
Gary Sovie, 48, who was arrested in Grove City, Ohio after a tote bag he donated to the Salvation Army contained child pornography.
A clerk called police after going through the bag, which also contained mail with Sovie’s address.
They paid a visit to Sovie, who admitted to taking the photographs of himself with an underaged girl.
The police report quoted Sovie as telling detectives, “I am a sick person. That was me. Just put a bullet in my head.”
