A call about a vehicle blocking a road in Poplar Bluff has ended with a man behind bars. Officers in Poplar Bluff were called to the intersection of South 6th Street at Park Street on Tuesday, December 14th to find a vehicle blocking the road. The driver of the Jeep, 25-year-old Titus Turner of Poplar Bluff had his foot on the brake, unconscious behind the wheel. Officers knocked on the window, waking Turner up. He got out of the vehicle, didn’t have a valid driver’s license, and his Jeep was towed. A half-pound of methamphetamine and digital scales were found in the jeep, as well as $1,000 on Turner. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
