A tractor-trailer driver managed to escape serious injury after his vehicle was blown over by high winds during storms that blew through Southeast Missouri on June 18th. the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s report said that at 10:05 a.m. 51 year old Kerry Moore, of Hopkins, Minn., was driving northbound on Interstate 55 and was pulling off at the Marston exit when the wind toppled his vehicle,. Moore had minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston for treatment. New Madrid County Sheriff Terry Stevens also reported the sign at the Pilot Truck Stop was blown over during the storm as well as several large trees in the Marston area.
