MO Summer Work Program for high schoolers with disabilities serves a record number of students this year

Missouri’s Summer Work Experience Program for high schoolers with disabilities has served a record number of students this year. Tim Gaines with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education says nearly 800 students in the program developed job experience this year and were paid minimum wage.

The program began in 2015.
